An AAIS delegation of 11 companies embarked on a business mission to Bangkok and Chonburi from 4 – 7 August 2025, focused on exploring opportunities in Thailand’s aerospace and aviation ecosystem. During the three-day programme, delegates had the chance to participate in facility tours, attend briefings and network with various Thailand companies and industry professionals.
Upon arriving in Thailand, the delegation enjoyed a delightful lunch at Hotel Nikko, followed by a briefing on the “Economic Update and its relevance to regional Aerospace and Manufacturing business activities”.
After lunch, the group went on their first site visit to SAM Precision (Thailand). At the facility, participants learned about SAM Thailand’s operations and capabilities, and toured the different factory plants within the facility. This visit marked the beginning of a journey filled with valuable insights and interactions, aimed at strengthening connections and fostering initiatives between Singapore and Thailand companies.
The day’s activities concluded with a welcoming dinner, where delegates enjoyed the rich flavors of Thai cuisine while engaging in lively conversations. The evening was filled with laughter and camaraderie, setting an uplifting tone for the remainder of the mission.

They also had the opportunity to observe various aircraft MRO procedures, including those related to engines, auxiliary power units (APUs), landing gears, and radomes. The tailored tours enabled participants to observe firsthand processes directly, encouraging knowledge exchange, discussions on best practices, and inspiring new ideas for potential collaborations.
