ERAU Asia Students at IFATCA Conference in Singapore

The International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations (IFATCA) conference marked a significant event for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Asia (ERAU Asia) and its students. Held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore, from 15 to 19 April 2024, the IFATCA conference provided ERAU Asia students with opportunities to engage with industry professionals, expand their knowledge, and network within the aviation community.
At the conference, students had the chance to represent ERAU Asia at an international platform and gained valuable insights into the latest developments, trends, and challenges in air traffic control and aviation technology. The students also had the opportunity to learn from industry experts, exchange ideas with participants from around the world, and broaden their understanding on the global aviation landscape.
Throughout the five-day event, one of the main highlights was the presence of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Asia’s booth at the conference. The booth serves as a focal point for interactions between students, faculty members, industry professionals, and conference attendees, as well as a platform for showcasing the university’s programs, research initiatives, and contributions to the field of aviation education. The students had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations, share their experiences, and forge connections with potential employers, mentors, and collaborators.
All in all, the participation at the IFATCA conference in Singapore was a transformative experience for the students of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Asia. The conference provided them with a unique platform to learn, connect, and grow within the aviation industry. By representing their university, participating in discussions, and networking with industry stakeholders, students walked home gaining valuable insights that expanded their horizons, and took important steps towards achieving their career goals in aviation and aerospace
