To round off the educational tour, the students participated in a hands-on activity that combined fun with learning. They were grouped and tasked with building a paper airplane aerodynamically designed to fly the furthest. This exercise, while seemingly simple, required teamwork, creativity, and an understanding of basic aerodynamic principles. The students eagerly collaborated, tested their designs, and learned from each iteration, embodying the spirit of innovation and problem-solving that is central to the aviation industry.
This visit to Scoot Airlines’ headquarters was more than just an educational outing; it was an enriching experience that provided ERAU Asia students with a deeper understanding of the airline industry. The exposure to real-world operations and direct interactions with industry professionals provided valuable insights on potential career paths. Therefore, such industry visits are instrumental in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application, while preparing students to become future leaders of aviation.
