On February 13, 2025, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) Asia had the pleasure of hosting a group of Grade 9 students from the Multiple Intelligence International School (MIIS) in the Philippines. The visit was part of the university’s ongoing efforts to engage with future aviation professionals and introduce them to the vast opportunities available in the aviation industry.
The group consist of a total of 34 students, aged 14 to 15, and 4 staff members. Upon arrival, the students were warmly greeted and welcomed by university representatives, setting the tone for an exciting and informative visit.
The programme commenced with a master class led by Dr. Jack Patel, providing students with valuable insights into the world of aviation and aerospace. Following this, Mr Bernard from ERAU Asia introduced the students to the Innovation Hangar 2026, showcasing the university’s commitment to fostering innovation in aviation technology.

After the session, the visit continued with a guided tour around the new ERAU Asia campus. Led by student representatives, the tour gave the students an opportunity to experience firsthand the state-of-the-art facilities and learning environment that the new campus offered.
A highlight of the visit was the flight simulator and virtual reality experience, led by student representative Julius. The hands-on session allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of aviation operations and flight training, sparking their interest in pursuing future careers in aviation and aerospace.
To further enrich their experience, the students were also given an exclusive tour around Air 7 Asia’s building and facilities. Mr Bernard facilitated the visit, providing students with an in-depth look into aviation infrastructure and operations. This segment of the programme exposed students to real-world applications of aviation studies and highlighted various career opportunities available in the industry.

The visit concluded with a group photo session, capturing the excitement and enthusiasm of both the students and their hosts. The event was not only an educational experience for the visiting students but also an opportunity for ERAU Asia to inspire and nurture the next generation of aviation professionals.
