Jet Aviation has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Singapore Economic Development Board and JTC Corporation on 12 March 2026 to explore expanding its capabilities and capacity in Singapore, including plans for a new hangar facility at Seletar Aerospace Park.

The agreement was signed by Mr Desmond Goh, Senior Vice President Regional Operations and General Manager, APAC at Jet Aviation; Mr Zheng Jingxin, Vice President and Head of Mobility at EDB; and Ms Lim Wee Lee, Director of the Aerospace and Precision Engineering Cluster at JTC.

“This agreement marks an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting our customers, and continuing to evolve our sites and services, in Asia-Pacific,” says Goh.

Jet Aviation plans to develop a new hangar to boost capacity for next-generation aircraft. This will help create new jobs and training opportunities for Singapore’s aerospace workforce in the growing business aviation sector.

Following the MOU signing, the parties will begin formal discussions on opportunities to expand the company’s maintenance and refurbishment capabilities for business aircraft and new platforms in Singapore, subject to stakeholder assessments and regulatory approvals.

Since entering the Asia-Pacific market in 1995, with an MRO and FBO base in Singapore, Jet Aviation has steadily expanded its business aviation services alongside the country’s growing aviation sector over the years. Today, Singapore serves as the company’s largest hub in Asia-Pacific for maintenance, refurbishment modification, fixed-based operations, and aircraft services.

“Singapore is a key global hub in the Jet Aviation network. We arrived here 30 years ago and are delighted to have the opportunity to further build on the experience and capabilities we have developed over the last three decades as we strive to provide an even more seamless experience in the region,” Goh added.
