On 24 January 2025, AAIS held its inaugural Student Leaders Summit at Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) Asia, which brought together industry representatives and enthusiastic students from universities across Singapore, including ERAU Asia, NUS, NTU, SIT, SUSS and SUTD. This marks the launch of the new AAIS-Affiliated Student Clubs Initiative, which aims to engage youth passionate about aviation and aerospace – by promoting the industry, facilitating exposure, and communicating industry opportunities. Participating student clubs onboard this initiative include aviation and aerospace clubs from ERAU Asia, NTU, NUS, and SUTD.

In the afternoon, student leaders from the four AAIS-Affiliated Student Clubs – ERAU Asia Student Government Association, NUS Aviation Club, NTU Aerospace Society, and SUTD Aviation Interest Group, went on an exclusive company visit to Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions. During the tour, they had the chance to observe close up various operations and transformation efforts in action. The day then wrapped up with a hands-on workshop, where student leaders from the four student clubs came together to collaborate, brainstorm, and explore potential opportunities for future partnerships.
